Then he was arrested on charges of spousal assault in 1999. In 2001 he was ordered to undergo a year of drug treatment after pleading guilty to three counts of being under the influence of PCP. On August 27, 2003 he was arrested again on similar charges as his 1991 arrest. The very same charges he received his beating in. I don't agree with the beating, but innocence was not the man's nature.
