No relation to Michael as far as I know, but impressive credits in American theater. He's had the luck to play mostly leading roles for the better part of his career (Jesus in JCS, Joe Hardy in DAMN YANKEES, Marius in LES MIS, Joseph in JOSEPH, Chris in MISS SAIGON, and the like).
