| I'm not sure Jim's got the sort of voice that could stand up to a hectic touring schedule though. It's all very well doing the odd live performance (like the live 'More Than You Deserve' that's on this site) but singing an entire set, night after night, really takes it out of a singer. Look at Meat for an example! I'm also not sure Jim has much enthusiasm for touring after the bad experiences of the 'Bat...' tour. He talked about the possibility with Pandora's Box but it didn't happen. Oh, and listen to the way he mangles the second "you'll never hide away from me" on 'Bad For Good' - sounds great on record, but it would rip your vocal chords apart if you tried it night after night, and Jim used that technique on quite a few songs on the album. | |
