Once again, until around 11:59pm, August 30th, the Lily Sincere Stripping Illusion: A First Hand Struggle At Truth site will be available for viewing. This site is not a media site, not a message board site, and is a work that has taken a great deal of trouble, not just by me but by Jim Cypherd as well. That said, it has no bearing to the behavior or reactions to anyone on this site except to the extent that others here would like to prevent its viewing. The site has been disabled twice due to mysterious circumstances and has been restored each time after some delays, and so it is not just in the scope of this board where reactions take place. The strength of the Rocky Horror power base is such that one does not imagine without incurring their focus, and includes some unnamed posters on this board who sit here to control what is said by whom, what looks bad and by whom, and what should or should not be read. That is a sad state of affairs, and one that is something that is hopefully more in jest and fun than in outright hostility. There is no inherent harm that my website could do to any of those who are presently active and happy in their Rocky Horror cult focus, and there should be no difference to the way that they enjoy the movie. I hope that they continue to enjoy the movie. If their perceptions should happen to change over time because of what I have written, they may like that change, which they would create on their own behalves. They might look at the Michaelangelo's Adam and God Fresco in one scene with a little bit more poeticalness, or they may like to notice the opposing eyes in the Ballroom of both Mona Lisas at either sides of the door. They may like to notice how much ART is in that film, and think of the ways that there are connections between scenes that they never noticed before. If anything, I hope that the people who see the film might want to look more at it, not less. People resistant to change are those who are probably wearing the same socks for twenty days, but other than that and the need for foot powder, I hope that they will come around in a positive way. I don't think anyone here has a true objection to this, except maybe the two Leesas, and I hope that you find something in it that was worth the writing and worth Jim's telling of the information to me. It is a good thing to read, and I wish you a very good read indeed. First Page Second Page Third Page Those inclined to donate are welcome to do so as well, to Paypal, email: helpsusan@paypal.com (After all, people keep talking about helping me...:)...) All the best to all of you, Susan | |
