I've nothing against singers signing with independent labels. Quite the contrary. But Brenda made the assertion that Karine Hannah will soon be a household name, and that is much more likely to happen for those on the major labels. That would be the relevance of my comment about the minor label thing. In general, if Brenda didn't want her post to be treated like a discussion-board topic, she shouldn't have posted it on a discussion board, but on a promotional website, where it belongs. I've nothing personal against you guys, the KARINE HANNAH PROMOTIONAL TEAM, but you have taken a deceptive approach to promoting the CD. You tried to pass of your ad copy as real fan reviews on a fan board. A lot of boards would delete that as spam, and I'm glad the members here have figured out that these are not real, independent fan reviews of the CD. So, nothing personal against any of you. I just am not a fan of the covert marketing thing. Many here aren't rich and base purchasing decisions on what are supposed to be fan reviews. Haven't heard the CD, probably won't, but I do hope it isn't all that bad. | |
