Ron Paul is a fringe ideologue who has no chance. Supporting Ron Paul is support for mainstream Democrats like Clinton or Obama. Support for a fringe lefter like Kucinich is support for mainstream GOPs like Giuliani or McCain.

I think Jim would be better off supporting Ron Paul than a buffoon like Kucinich. Jim's a registered libertarian, so Ron Paul is probably closer to his overall views. And, supporting Ron Paul works against the GOP candidates who have a chance. I bet Jim hates the realistic GOP candidates more than he hates Clinton or Obama.

So Ron Paul would be a win/win for Jim.
