I agree with you to a point. But after Bonnie's version of 'TOOTAB', I was horrified. I always picture someone first encountering Jim, after maybe some Meatloaf-only exposure, and because the bastardised versions make it big commercially, this is what they hear and believe is all Jim has done since The Loaf.
The same arguement holds for Mikey Boy's 'Dance' and most likely the new and 'improved' 'Whistle.
Corruption is still painful, even in the name of revenue.
