| Hahaha, hey Rob. Well firstly it is a unique gathering of people that celebrate the medievil Eurpoean life style by dressing up as wenches and maidens, knights and serfs, mages and merrymen, and they all speak and act like the time period. There is also a large pirate following that go and dress up as pirates and captians. There are shops that sell various goods from the time period. There are forges making weapons and jewelery in the olden day fashion. There are leather works and whittlers and just about everything you could imagine. They even have old fashioned food being served. The fair also features events throughout the day with jugglers, an old fashioned chess game with real people, acrobats, hypnotists, comedians, gypsy dancing, and jousting. And all that is the basics of the whole thing! It is just an all around specatular event and a truly memorable and fun time. The only reason you werent invited was because Im guessing you dont live anywhere near Eastern Pennsylvania. BUT if you are ever around the area between now and the end of October, feel free to let me know cause we def want to go back.
