| Thinking about it you're right - can't really remember any Musicals being released officially, unless they are film versions. It's a bit like plays as well - you can buy the text in book form, but unless it's a TV or film dramatisation, then you'll never just see the stage performance filmed and released. It's probably something to do with the theatres, producers etc not wanting perormances to be released in this way for fear of losing custom/revenue. My guess would also be that the audience for these releases wouldn't be worthwhile as it's hard to translate the dynamic of a stage showand the experience of being there onto film, so only the die-hards would want to own it. > I wonder if there'd be enough people to buy it, to make > profit.
