I don't know, but in the case of the Hamburg DVD they already have something worthy IMO of being released. Duplication costs are not high. I once did some work for a CD printing plant. The manufacturing cost then for a CD, including the leaflet and case, was 17p (that's 0.26 Euros or $0.33). I guess DVDs are a bit higher but still low compared to £10+ per unit sales price.

Funny story I heard at the time ... the CD plant did the pressing, leaflet printing and assembly of the CD and leaflet into the box. Latter was done by robots. Till that is they tried to make a CD for the Pet Shop Boys. The case design had dimples in it, and the robots just threw the cases around. They couldn't get it to work, so ended up hiring some temp staff just to do the packing.
