Censorship/banning was never something that this board was comfortable with. I know, I personally felt that Susan never should have been given the chance she was in April because to me, in my opinion, she was more pronouncedly mentally ill than any other poster we ever had at length--meaning she really believed the stuff she posted and couldn't help it. It was WAY beyond 'fan fiction'. I only saw it because my father in law behaved very similarly (only without a computer, thank god)for 3 years before he thankfully died. We had a huge grounding in dementia from the University of Iowa Hospitals on the subject.
I agree, we could have averted the situation earlier, but when Susan wasn't manic, she at least was ignorable.
I admittedly would have been pretty similarly to you and Smeg in my response to her bullshit, both about Jim and myself, but with her obvious mental illness I dropped it.
This was a hard call for a format that has fought it's entire existance for free, unaltered speech. I cut JD alot of slack on that.
But I knew this would be different.
By the way, glad you shut up and stayed on board when it mattered!!
