| Been wondering about this recently, and as some of you have been lucky enough to meet Rinkoff in person and talk about the project, maybe you can answer this. Is Jim's involvement needed to progress TDE further? As far as I understand it, OTT started as a "present" to Jim to celebrate his legacy and most of the work was done by Rinkoff & Margoshes. Even when it metamorphosised into the TDE, with new songs being premiered, it still seemed that Jim's involvement was marginal at best. Now, with Jim concentrating on the Bat musical - is Rinkoff needed with this? Or is he free to try and make something of TDE, and leave Jim to concentrate on the new project? My impression is that Jim seems to rely on Rinkoff more and more over the last decade or so, which seems to be borned out by the lack of development on TDE front. I know Rinkoff siad it's far from dead, so are we going to see a sudden burst of activity with the band or is it on hold until Bat opens in London? Opinions/arguements? Let's make the most of the wonderful silence.... | |
