| Yes I've seen bits of pieces and it's an amazing series. How they get some of those shots must be very difficult. I know what you mean about destroying the planet. However the human race is also good at destroying each other. And even though I sympathize tremendously with those lost in 911. I wasn't there of course but I could have been caught up in the commotion as I was offered an apprentiship at the Deutsche Bank in NYC for the summer of 2001, which I didn't go for in the end. However I can't help but think how crazy it is that now more American soldiers have died in Iraq since 2003, and for what? For nothing in my opinion. And then there's the vast number of kids/soldiers who get permanently wounded. People Donald Rumsfeld will not face up to and simply ignores. Pathetic. I'm sure without 911 the USA wouldn't have (been able) entered/to enter Iraq on such a scale at all. And to also give such a little pathetic low life as OSAMA the sole credit with those acts of terrorism is over the top I think. He couldn't hijack a plane by himself in a million years cuz believe me he is not ready to die and see if those 40 virgins exist! Not one man ever does that stuff by himself, of course kill Osama and castrate him first (slowly) but there's a lot more to it (more people involved etc), so the stupid political stance that everything evolves around terrorism in the USA is wrong imo. You can't tell people to live free, buy a gun, be afraid without sounding contradicting imo. The line from Terminator 2 is truer than ever: "It's in your nature to destroy yourselves". We should all revolt in my opinion to the governments. Many people share these sentiments I believe, in USA, the UK and Holland. People weren't afraid to demonstrate in the 60s and 70s. Now we are afraid to demonstrate and we give into the policing who tell us we cannot demonstrate. It's not right in my opinion. Just a random chain of thoughts, sorry... | |
