| I'm not particularly a snob. I have just found, that almost since the begining, chat rooms and mail lists end up being reeding grounds for the loons and even those with good intentions get caught up in the horror. In my many lives with the jimlist I have been attacked, attacked back, shunned, and mostly frightened of the way things have been handled. Even the thought that one person (JD) can stop other people from talking freely on the board, not b/c of the abuse that went on, but for disrespecting Jim. Jim is no more worth of respect than any other human being - and while human beings with hearts and sould and feelings are being disrespected, and people asking for bannings to occur b/c of such, she only chooses to ban once she feels Jim was disrespected. I am no fan of JD, but that is for another time, if there is one, for I'm a bit leary that, like the current Bush administration I have this freedom of speech here, only until I disrespect her, or Jim, and then I'll be banned to. Does this place compel us to rant and rave? I apologize for my long winded tangent (not its content, just its tangental nature). As for bootlegs, I did share (mailed MP3's and even sent out a CD or two), someone even shared other stuff back. it was nice, for a moment - and they were even hosted I believe by Smeg for download. It was the 1st night TDE (not OTT) where Bonnie Tyler sang TEOTH and LYADJ. I'm sure I could dig it up again if you'd like. And forgive for my being skeptical, thinking you were calling me liar.
