a) It's what runs this site, the entity known in copyright notices as "Rockman Philharmonic - The Jim Steinman Society for the Arts." It started off as the Jim list, and if you know what an emailing list is, you're halfway there. It started off as a Jacqueline-run enterprise that was viewed by Jim. Dream Pollution used to host a link to a version that went obsolete, and now the list is hosted at the link below, courtesy of Carpe Jugulum. Join if you feel free.
b) The merchandise has already been brought about, sometimes for free, as with the Dream Engine CD's, the "Erection of the Heart" DVD, the Rhinegold CD, and many more goodies, including what can arguably be called fan efforts with the NBAMN albums, distributed and made by fans for fans. However, in the future, I do believe Jim's Bat Noir and Nuit Noir lines should be sold through the site as well.
