| February 2006 - I wish there were a log. I bootleged the Blizzrd concert of TDE. I sat close to the stage and got some interfernce. I believe Pudding or Maybe even Dave hosted them for dowload. Someone sent me a karaoke disc of TDV (which is completely an totally awesome - forgive me for forgetting whom sent it, but being away from the board dulls the memory) The address I and names I used then were lost or banned andbut I must have registered this name and email account and so now I use it. I use aliases, b/c that's what I do. Lots of peole do - hell - ain't Meat Loaf an alias. I come ack to the oard and all hell breaks loose. I am attacked for not conforming to the same opions as the majority, am accused of being the very peopleyou drove away, and JD in her Bush administrating style opens up the ISP logs to out who I am, much the way Valerie Plame was treated. I don't ant people knowing who I am for these and other reasons. I am Stephen Purse, I am Jack Slattery, I am a hundred other voices circling round in my head. I am not Jakoutof Hell, I am not Susan, and I'm not a nutter. I have been around sine the mid 90's when the internet as new and mails were traded back and forth. (I had other names then too). The chip on myshoulder is there for good reason. I have shared and recieved, I have come eeking knowledge, and am frustrated that I have to sift through garbag - I'll never find my gold on a sandy beach. This, by the way, is true of other lists, of other types across the internet. If I am banned, I will come back - I come back in spite of all the rap b/c JD has made sure this is the official and primary place of business to discuss Jim, and sometimes the truth trickles through. But - in the interest of quelling the tempest I have so regrettably kicked up (I dont regret what I've said or done, merely that the Monster is Loose) - I will start here, and hope we can all move forward. And again in asking, if you know my given name, please do not reveal it - nor trust that you think you know it. I was given a name at birth, and I have taken, and have had taken from me, and taken again yet another professional name. But I move forward here on this board as Stephen Purse - aka sturse. I live in and work in NYC and I am a fanof Jim's. I will not partake in further nonsense, but will coexist. I am open to questions, as long as you are open to the truth. The names maybe changed to protect the innocent, but I will not (nor have I yet) lie. I'm tired now - and this is why, again, I lurk among the shadows for so long.
