That is a very bold, tough question... and very worthwhile... cheers to asking it....

inspiration is a fucking crazy thing... sometimes dealing with older creations is incredibly satisfying.... and there is a need to not let go of such creations and push to keep them relivent (sp?)...

with the 'Bat' musical, perhaps mr. Steinman is trying to re-claim his creations.... i consider the Bat out of Hell albums the most important artistic creations, in which i use in my own personal and creative life... i even ADORE 'The Monster is Loose...' even though i understand why most don't... i do believe it is very important as an artist, writer, whatever to learn and not let go of creations and masterpieces...

the 'Bat 1 and Bat 2' material is timeless... and therefore has a hell of a chance of maintaining importance and enduring for ages.... and we can't forget that...

"don't worry about the future, sooner or later it's the past... if they say the thrill is gone, then it's time to take it back...."
