> I think you are not far from it... but bear in mind that > Jim has said Total Eclipse was written with Wuthering > Heights in mind? Yes, I've heard that as well. A beaten paperback of Wuthering Heights is still sitting on my shelf. I have ignored it for the better part of a year. I should probably read it, but the pages are all musty. I'll read it when I finish Lunar Park. I've seen the version Jim had involvement in, but since I didn't care for certain aspects of the film I found it hard to really feel for the characters. I may appreciate it more later. > So I think it is not so much the fact that she wakes up > and realizes no one will find her, but that she has lost > the love of her life because she was too scared to take > her chance when she had it! Or is it not even she? I also get the vibe of missing out on a love from the past. Letting it slip away. Didn't put that in there though. In a way... this is the most gender > confused song ever... I know, isn't it? Thanks to you, and everyone that read. | |
