Think of it this way, video games are the greatest example of Gesamtkunstwerk. You have Music, Theater, Architecture, and Art. All fused into one great work. We really have yet to truly tap into what video games can accomplish.

And Halo 3 is a very bland and overrated game. Half Life 2 is leagues better, as is Counter Strike if you're talking multiplayer. They have the Microsoft machine to market the hell out of it with.
