I have "New Miserable Experience" too. Boris (see avatar) peed on that too. The music sounds almost upbeat, yet the lyrics are sad.
On TEOTH...first off, I think it's open to interpretation so despite what the lit teacher says there aren't wrong answers.
My take is simpler. I think she's in a relationship and feeling insecure. Every now and then, everyone feels a little afraid. She has love and thinks she should feel happy and confident, yet has to admit she doesn't feel that way all the time.
