I'm surprised Jim & Des never got together to co-write (especially in the late 80's).

Meat has said in interview (1995) that he wanted them to co-write for 'Welcome To The Neighbourhood', but obviously it never came off.

Jim was gonna write for Aerosmith in '87/'88, but got replaced by Desmond.

Aside from musicals, I guess Jim prefers working alone on songs.

BTW - Secret Dreams & Bat 3 prove that Jim produces a Child song, ten times better than Des producing Steinman?
