I like Gilbert & Sullivan, Pirates Of Penzance being one of my favourites by them. Which incidentally was revived on Broadway by non-other than Mr.Joseph Papp.

I like their style, as it's all about fun, taking the audience to somewhere other than reality. Where a lot of the modern shows, Spring Awakening, RENT etc try to show the struggles of reality, which is kinda off-putting.

Hmmm, perhaps it would be a great CD if Jim produced his version of some of their well-known songs. I can just hear I am the very model of a modern Major-General done to electric guitars and crashing drums...LOL
