| Fairly recent Bonnie Tyler interview at the link, and Jim is mentioned quite a few times: He suggested to Bonnie to do the country rock album and gave her a list of 12 albums to listen to, and she is now selecting the best songwriters and producers to approach to work with (based on these albums). Vince Gill's name is mentioned as a country writer she admires. Jim has promised to write 1 or 2 songs for the project, but she says he is very busy with the Bat musical at the moment. Not clear from the interview whether Jim will produce the whole album or just his songs. Sounds like he is more of an 'executive producer' for this project? She went to his house earlier this year and heard the Westlife remix of Eclipse & loved it, but the record company (ie Cowell) thought it was too OTT! During this visit Jim was 'glowing' in a dark room, wearing his new fibre optic clothing range. Once her 2007 commitments are out of the way, she says her goal is to work with Jim on this album. BTW - Interview is 25.05 in total. Main Steinman mentions are at 14.05 & 21.35. | |
