| To me it's always seemed like more of a business arrangement... it's pretty much clear that most of their best (and certainly most financially successful) work has been with one another, which led to some mutual respect and sense of friendship. And in turn, since both owe a great deal of their success to the other, there is likely mutual jealousy and resentment stemming all the way back to the release of Bat 1. Clearly, the only way to settle it once and for all would be to have Meat write an album for Jim to sing and see how well it does. Actually that wouldn't settle a goddamn thing, but it would be amazing. | |
