| I was looking at the track list in Starbucks yesterday. Love the title "Girls in their Summer Clothes." The on-set of summer and the busting out of the girls' summer wardrobe really is a phenomenon of sorts: the short shorts, the halter tops... Definitely song-writing material. 'Course, I suppose Bruce probably turns it into a narcoleptic rumination on the plight of homeless vets living with HIV under the Jersey Shore boardwalk... > Loving the new Springsteen album. > > Current stand-out tracks: > > Your Own Worst Enemy (Bruce does Billy Joel?) > Girls In Their Summer Clothes > I'll Work For Your Love > Long Walk Home (Bruce does Orbison?) > Last To Die > > Only disappointment is that Roy Bittan is a bit underused > and/or too low in the mix? > > > | |
