Hi Grace and Stewbeef

I see from your posts that you are both fellow Brits.

We may disagree on some things, but let us join together in hoping that England beats South Africa on Saturday.

If England wins, it will be the first time that a champion team has retained the world cup.

Even if you don't like rugby, it is your patriotic duty to watch the game.

Also Grace, when you said that you'd rather watch a Meat Loaf concert than watch Bat Out Of Hell The Epic Musical Experience, I have to respect your opinion.

Perhaps you don't have to choose. You can enjoy both because they are vastly different experiences.

You did ask Jim to bring Bat Out Of Hell The Epic Musical Experience to Birmingham. And you did say that you like anything Jim does.

When I compared a Meat Loaf concert to the new stage show, I was talking about people (and especially critics) judging
the musical by what has existed before.

This is what happened with the Toronto and West End versions of 'Lord of the Rings'. People keep comparing it to the three movies and when it is compared in this way, it looses. It can't compete with the powerful reputations of the films that existed before the stage shows. Experts think that this is the primary reason it is failing and loosing a lot of money.

I wasn't trying to be negative about a Meat Loaf concert.

But I was trying to say that Bat Out Of Hell The Epic Musical Experience will survive any comparisons to a Meat Loaf concert. It will be bigger than anything that has existed before it.

The 'Lord of the Rings' stage show is somehow beneath the three movies of the same name but Bat Out Of Hell The Epic Musical Experience will hopefully be above a simple concert.

The set alone is going to be fantastic. I don't know what it will look like but if you read Jim's description of Obsidian, then you can start to imagine something wonderful.

By the way, I am not Susan and I am not related to her. I only heard of her for the first time yesterday, in Pudding's post. What have you got against her and why do you think that I'm related to her?

Over to you Stewbeef, I don't know why I upset you to the point that you have to hurl personal insults at me. I don't think that you are in favour of freedom of speech.

To quote John Lennon:

"If you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, you ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow."

Best regards,

Mr.Egg
