I wanted to mention that the first time a song beginning with 'and' came to my attention was when Brian May was discussing in an interview a tune called 'Mad the Swine' that Roy Baker was going to produce--it was in the mid-seventies. Well, it never happened for some reason but the standing joke with Queen was that it was the only song that started with 'and'. Ever since, I've always noticed if that's a song's beginning. So there are a few others I've spotted over the years but I can't think of them right off. Doesn't Meat Loaf begin singing 'And I would do anything fo love...'although that's not officially the title?
