First off, I think this should be a song in BOOH, as it's such a great title, and I can imagine the audience reading the songlist and thinking what the fuck is this one all about!
Second, it 'sounds' like a Steinman title, and I can hear the critics saying that only Jim could have written something like this.
The Devil's Playground is good, but not as interesting or dramatic as 'Decorate...'.
Thirdly, Jim previously mentioned using 'Graveyard Shift' in BOOH, as Hook goes on a 'bloody search & destroy' mission.
Obviously we don't know the context of why this 'mission' is happening but, as much as I love Graveyard, it doesn't seem right in here.
Surely a new song with the title 'Decorate...' is perfect for this scene? 'Vespers' could still be performed, if necessary, as the prelude, and then into 'Decorate...'?
