It's good to see the birth of these lyrics and how much they will progress towards the final cut!!!
I can hear the start of the song with the pounding of the piano and the bass like the intro to Gonna love her for both of us. Every time I read the lyrics I can't shift that sound out of my head and it was the first beat came into my head when I read them. It has to be something really dark and dramatic to carry it fru.
What a great lyric 'I will decorate this city in ribbons of blood'. It cries Steinman as soon as you read it! It also says to me 'revenge and remininsing regrets'???
This will sound totally fucked what I am to say but the chunk between ' we'll all succumb' all the way down to 'just waiting for the names' sounds like to me, the witches spell in Macbeth.

Fire burn and the caldron bubble
WTF? I know, but to me, they both have a similar tone??
Also 'paradise' sounds like the prediction bit at the end of 'die unstillbare gier' (Confessions)
Can't wait to hear a demo

p.p.s I am sorry if I have totally missed the 'hook' in this song. lol
