Well, Arturo (snicker), your second point is what I agree with. As a song of its own, it doesn't work and it does sound disconnected. As for it being a soliloquy, a la Rose's Turn, the one from "Carousel", or even the one from "Vampires" or "Whistle" (surprised a Steinfan forgot those), every soliloquy has a unifying point, and it turns on the same topic.

Even Rose's Turn, which this could be said to resemble, holds together far better. The song has no cohesion right now, much like "Only When I Feel." If one separated the two songs that became OWIF, and separated DP as I do, then maybe not only would Jim elaborate on these fragments, but we'd have had Bat3 sooner. I mean really, we've seen nothing but titles on the others, what proof do we have that they're finished?
