| > I bet there was a lot of pissed off Geordies. There are. See the link for some comments. Here's one example: Lets assume Meatloaf did have a sore throat …awe…yeh right! Does a sore throat make you look like you are drunk or on drugs, does it make you tone deaf, because the way he was singing it seemed that way. Does it slur your speech or make you late for your lines! Why was he staggering all over the stage, staring at the ground while singing, were his lines on the floor, or is he too old for rock and just trying to get a last payday at our expense. Meatloafs band and backing singers were good, but we did not come to see them, we came to see him. I am so glad this was not an X-factor audition, Meatloaf would have made the final as the worst of the worst singers at the auditions! Meatloaf should be ashamed of his performance as should the Arena, they should be giving us all a refund. > It kinda annoys me that Meat tries to perform 'knowing' > full well that he's not fully able to give his best. It's > a complete dis-service to his fans and more so to himself. > He'd have been better cancelling the show before it > started. Very much agree. Dave | |
