TSO

So my cube neighbor is rocking the Oldies radio station, which actually plays only X-Mas music all month long (not necessarily oldies, even) and so far today they are playing Trans-Siberian Orchestra like, literally, every third song. Its weird, especially since they are playing mostly off of "The Lost Christmas Eve," which I actually just, finally, purchased last week.

And I must say, I enjoy Rob Evan's vocals much more on the TSO record than I do on his TDE work. He sings with more bass and menace here, not so much the vanilla Luke Skywalker vocals of TDE. If he could sing Steinman this way, I might actually get excited about it.

Also, anybody know why Meat Loaf and Patti Russo get thanked AGAIN on "The Lost Christmas Eve?" On the prior album, Patti actually appeared, but not on this one. Seems strange. Unless they just really don't want Meat to sue them for gimmick infringement...
