Well as i'm not as qualified a musician as you yourself must be, I require a backing track or click to keep me in time.

Indeed I could just record each track to a metronome and then try to synchronise them afterwards but it's easier for me to hear what is already recorded when I record something new.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
