| Ive been so busy lately and I really didn't have time for something like this, but Ive been letting everyone know that me and several friends of mine have been the target of a particularly creepy hacker. Last night, someone attempted to change my Gmail password (I don't know how, no one could possibly have guessed that password) and tonight, they almost succeeded. I have changed the passwords twice, before several of my friends had their facebook, email and myspace hacked into it shortly after me. A few weeks before that, a hacker broke into another friend's email and started swearing obscenities at his powerful producer friend (Who also does not need this kind of shit. He was shocked and horrified.) I am putting all this information "out there", everywhere I can, and the producer is helping us to find and deal with the hacker in the eyes of the law. Hacking is a serious violation, in my eyes, and it's never tolerated on the web. I urge all of you to update your details frequently and warn your friends about the possibilities of these situations arising. My friend was put into a situation where he was slandered by the hacker, made out that he was the one saying all the awful shit, nearly damaging & destroying his whole career. Not a good thing to have to deal with in the busy Christmas season, or at any time really, and we are *this close* to catching the culprit. Anyone who can assist in tracking down the Vital IP, as well, you know where to contact me (and if that's been broken into, God help us.) | |
