| I was planning to leave you guys alone and not post here anymore. That hasn't really changed, with the exception of this one thing. There is a book called "I Am America (And So Can You!)" by Stephen Colbert. It's apparently one of the top-selling books in the United States right now. On page 99, there is a very brief and kinda random reference to a Jim Steinman song. The book is very funny. I suspect a lot of you guys here would like it. It does have pictures and is fairly easy to understand, even for somebody with my mental limitations (I'm retarded). It's mostly a parody of American political and social conservatives. Sometimes, all you have to do is repeat what they say with a sarcastic tone, and BOOM! instant comedy. Jim Steinman might get a kick out of knowing that a top-selling comedy book refers to his song. I also think he would like the humor. Perhaps he should buy this book for himself. A relative gave it to me as part of her holiday. She got it at a grocery store for $15. | |
