A lot of new members last year turned out to be nutters, so as sad as it is, any genuine new member is going to be caught up in people wondering what their agenda is. They probably don't have an agenda at all, just wanting to enjoy the music, but after Crazy Susan running amuck and nothing being done about her for months, you can't blame people for being a little on edge.
The board isn't properly moderated, which is what it needs. Some people are against a moderated board because they feel it either loses the soul of Rockman or "it's not what Jim likes" But you can moderate in moderation and still keep the soul.
Don't forget, it is what it is because it's allowed to be that way.
To predict the future you look at the past and unless something fairly dramatic happens and soon the future isn't Orange.
