I posted this on my blog and I'll post it here as well as it might spark some discussions on future projects.
At first glance there doesn't appear to be a lot happening in Steinland for 2008, at second glance there isn't, not yet anyway.
Whistle Down The Wind continues its tour in America, and I have heard rumours that it possibly could either go back to London for a couple of months or more, or do a tour of the UK again. But they're only rumours and rumours are all we have at the moment.
Tanz Der Vampire has another short run in Budapest starting 5th June(ish) and Tanz Der Vampire in Berlin closes on 30th March where I'll be lucky enough to see the last two performances with fellow Steinmaniacs. It had been mentioned in 2007 that Tanz would go to Belgium and Holland in 2008/9, but which one first and when is still a bit of a mystery.
Maybe Bonnie Tyler's talked about Country/Rock album she said she's doing with Jim will be released in 2008. Maybe Bonnie will sober up in 2008...who knows?
There's the much talked about Bat Out Of Hell:The Musical that Jim has talked about, maybe that'll gather momentum in 2008. And just because I'm feeling in a funny mood, maybe The Dream Engine will be given new spark plugs and have its gears turning again.
A new movie version of Footloose starring Zac Efron should be coming out in 2008
No doubt more cover versions of Total Eclipse, Holding Out For A Hero, Whistle Down The Wind and No Matter What will get recorded and hacked to pieces.
