I saw the film last night to get a bit of inspiration but was a bit disappointed. It had good intentions but who picked the children in the film! They certaintly lacked any sparkle and Kate Winslet's performance was very one dimensional, J.Depp and Dustin Hoffman were the only saving graces. Totally missed the juxtaposition of fantasy and unconventional reality of the Victorian era that they were living in.
