After checking, this seems to be a few weeks old, but just heard on radio today that Rhydian Roberts has signed a record deal with SonyBMG for an opera style album, and a possible 'pop' album (not sure) with Cowell's 'Syco' label (part of SonyBMG).

I suggested Roberts could make a great Peter Pan(?), and if these albums sell well in 2008, he could be an even better choice.
As SonyBMG are also involved in the Bat musical(?), then it all makes perfect sense, doesn't it??
However, Lloyd Webber seems to be sniffing round for his Phantom 2 lead?
