Okay. Thanks for the link Pud, I've been very curious about this since (I think...) Ryan mentioned it a while ago, my initial reaction was akin to that which accompanies aNOTHER edition of Big Brother etc... But now I've listened to some of the tracks, I'd like to share these thoughts with everyone.
First of all, did Bono write these himself? Was he on some mood enhancing substance while he did it? Seriously, we all have our muses, maybe that's his...?
The first song sounds like the mutant lovechild of Rebel Without a Clue and the Blockbusters theme tune. I know it's a demo... ;)
To me the whole thing is froth and stinks of a cash in as much as an old turd stinks. "If it was this easy everyone would do it" is the phrase that comes to mind and my response to that is this:
1) Okay then, perhaps everyone SHOULD be doing it! Hehe!
and 2)It IS this easy when you already HAVE the money to put such a deliberate 'spectacle' on (in the worst sense of the word)
