I dont know, I dont feel I hear any emotion in the WH version, maybe the heavy metal instrumentation, but certainly not the vocals.
To me Mike Vogel always sounds bored singing it, where the loaf finds a glimpse of his old passion in this one.
But youre right, it's a crappy song and you cant make gold out of shit.
