After watching the 'Streets of Fire' trailer below, got to thinking...
...if/when Boyzone record their new album (probably ready for Christmas'08), instead of coming back with a bland shitty ballad (as expected), they should/could surprise everyone and rock-out with 'Nowhere Fast'?
Forgetting the slightly ironic title, the Fire Inc arrangement is heavy on the BV's, which should suit a so-called vocal group, and some of the lyrics are quite apt:
'I don't know how I ever thought that I could make it all alone'
'I don't know where I ever got the bright idea that I was cool'
'You'll always be the only thing that I just can't be without'
Whatever they come back with, should infiltrate the UK top 5 at least, and Nowhere Fast deserves to be a hit.
BTW - Anyone know if the TDE version for the cartoon series was taken up?
