Is he asking Jim to write/produce a record for him, or is he after a part in the Bat musical?

If it's the former, then he's having a laff!!

If it's the latter, he's having a laff!! (and in any case he should audition like everyone else interested/capable).

In the clip at the link (which I presume is a 'showcase' for his act) his breathing, phrasing and enunciation is average/poor, although I do like the backdrop.
