| A bit obscure, but I just watched 'The Seventh Continent' - an Austrian film by Michael Haneke about a family who decide to kill themselves. Just after the little girl has died from an overdose, the dad gets up and switches off the TV - which is showing Meat singing "Piece of the Action"! The film doesn't offer any clear explanations as to why the family kills themselves... I mean, if it'd been Bat 3 they'd been listening to, I could have understood it... ;-) - Danny. (BRILLIANT film btw - I've yet to see a Michael Haneke film I haven't loved and been disturbed by in equal measure! I think Jim mentioned 'Hidden' on his blog, but Funny Games, Benny's Video, and Time of the Wolf are also recommended.) | |
