OK I know a lot of people hate Meat Loaf's version of the song, but I love it. It's like ... Metallica in Vegas, on crack. Call me crazy, but I think it sounds great! Plus I've never heard Meat rant and rave as wonderfully as at the end of this song.
Anyway, I know you are all dying to know what kind of video should have been made for this song. So here it is - knowing that this song might have been in the Batman musical, and loving the old film "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" I imagine a sort of cross between the two. A black & white drag race in the desert pitting a Bat motorcyclist, a sultry vixen in a little black muscle car with pussycat logo, and a badass in a Joker jalopy. I wouldn't make any of the Bat / Cat / Joker iconography anything like what's actually been in Batman, but the reference would be there for anyone who was hip. I see lots of high-speed racing, dust clouds, gear shifts, wipe outs, go-go dancing, catfights, etc.
