| I love Jim singing. According to the interview on Smeg’s site. Jim was planning to go back on tour with TNE. Imagine, Meat singing 2 out of 3 and then Jim taking lead vocals on frying pan or stark raving love. However, I can’t imagine Meat just sitting there and letting Jim take centre stage. Don’t know who caught 3 bats on TMF the other week but during AFL (At which point I was swearing at the T.V. cause of the shit vocals from Meat) Aspen (Saved the performance BTW) held a really long note and Meat did exactly the same to try and out stage her. It was probably planned but he still pisses me of when he dose that > Bad For Good reached #7 in the UK in 1981 and the highest > for Bat Out Of Hell was #9, so it was relatively > successful. Personally I don't rate Jim's singing much, so > I'm glad that there wasn't a series of Jim solo albums. > Had Jims and Meats relationship not gone south, I think we > would have had more Meat/Jim albums than we have.
