had a talk with a friend about this issue a few weeks ago:
at their very best, who was better, Meat Loaf or Steve Barton.
Whilst both are definitely unique, and have this (semi) opera feeling in their voices, I'd go for Meat.
I think Meat would present quite a good rendition of endless appetite/unstillbare gier, with his older, melancholic voice (mid to late 90s).
On the other hand Steve Barton doesnt have this Rock n Roll quality Meat has/had. Meat delivered Rock and Rock n Roll songs believably (BOOH, Bad Attitude, Blind Before I stop (although the song sucks big time lol)) and I couldnt see Steve do that.
