| There really isn't that big a leap of faith required. There are musicals about Beasts and Mermaids, Deformed men living in sewers, etc. The problem is that the new version of the show trys to be a mix of a cute Annie kids show and a sexy rock show. It's just like Dance where they tried to fix something by making it something it wasn't... "I can't be what I'm not". The show needed to stop trying to be a family friendly kid's show. ANytime people use the willing suspension of disbelief argument it is because the show isn't good. Even Friends and Three's Company require a willing suspension of disbelief. If the show is good people will buy whatever premise. I saw the London show and loved it. > Sad news I think. I really loved WDTW.
