The first and the second movies were very slow. I only watched them because I was/still am a die-hard fan of the books. The third film is the best, because of the direction, and the fourth film is an utter travesty ("The Monster Is Loose" style, marginally worse.) The fifth film is amazing, especially the climactic sequence. But nothing tops the books. They cut sooo much from the latest films that will ruin the last ones, for me. Just forget about the films altogether and read the books. And yes, Darth Sidious would blow Potter to smithereens without a second's thought. > I haven't seen not one Potter movie.
