Andrew Lloyd Webber's done the bulk of the score. There IS a lyricist but he/she hasn't been announced. Frederick Forsyth, author of the original novella it's based on, is supposedly involved again (as he should be. It gives him the chance to fix all of the mistakes in the one worst book of his career! IMO...) They have a director, designer and are approaching other people as we SPEAK. Industry "speak" is that it could be a huge stinker in Webber's career but I think he'll prove them wrong and pull a BAT 2. You watch. Either way, it's going to be fun. | |
